Any newly hired employee who is hired from December 2023 through November 2024 who elects to enroll in any Aetna Medical plan during their new hire benefits election will receive a one-time lump sum payment of $900.

This is a one-time incentive for newly hired employees who enroll in an Aetna plan!

Note: This incentive payment will also include any extra-help employee who is newly hired as a Regular/Permanent employee, since the Aetna medical plans were not previously available to extra help employees. This payment will be taxed according to your W2 tax exemption that you set up in Workday.

New Employee Benefits Orientation

The Benefits Staff is dedicated to making your benefits enrollment a simple process. Please review this year's Benefits Guide carefully to help you make important decisions regarding your benefits. 

We highly encourage you to also attend one of our upcoming New Employee Benefits (NEBO)/Extra Help New Employee Benefits (EHNEBO) Orientations, held every other week virtually through Microsoft Teams except on the 2nd NEBO/EHNEBO of each month which is held in-person.

Union Session for Regular, Limited Term, and Extra-Help

  • 10:30 – 11:00am – Union

Extra-Help NEBO

  • 11:00am – 11:20am – Empower (Formerly MassMutual)
  • 11:20am – 12:00pm – Extra Help Benefits Presentation

You will receive an e-mail with information about the NEBO training with instructions on how to sign up for a session in our Learning Management System (LMS).

Courts and DSA/OSS Safety employees, please contact your Department Payroll to confirm your attendance.
