CSA 7 Water System Distribution Pipeline Improvements Project
The Project consists of installing a new treated water distribution line and a potential raw water line from the existing water treatment plant to the northern neighborhoods of the CSA 7 system (La Honda Road, Pescadero Creek Road, Pope Road, Mobile Home Park, and Memory Lane), bypassing the current water main through Sam MacDonald Park and private properties which is prone to breaks and difficult to access. The new pipelines will be installed along Pescadero Creek Road and La Honda Road (State Route 84).
Cellular Distributed Antenna System for North County Wellness Center Project
The Project consists of a new Cellular Distributed Antenna System as outlined located at 1024 Mission Road, South San Francisco, CA. The Project will consist of two Phases: Phase 1 - Design, Engineering, Submittal and Procurement; and Phase 2 - Installation, Testing, Commissioning & Warranty.

Lerida Court and Gabarda Way Retaining Walls Improvement Project
The Lerida Court Retaining Walls Improvement project includes the engineering design for the stabilization and repair of two retaining walls located on 15 Lerida Court. County has retained a geotechnical consultant, Cal Engineering & Geology, Inc, to provide us with a design replacement options prior to the developing plans and specification.

Pescadero Fire Station #59
The Department of Public Works (Department) is seeking a general contractor for the Pescadero Fire Station #59 Project (Project). The anticipated construction is to be performed at 340 Butano Cutoff, Pescadero, CA 94060. The work to be done consists, in general, of providing all labor, materials, tools, appurtenances, and equipment required as well as any other items and details not mentioned but required by the Contract Documents and Project Specifications and as directed by the Director of Public Works or designee.
In September 2025, the County issued a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RSOQ) for construction services for the Pescadero Fire Station #59 project. 795 Skyway Road Building Replacement Project (AS033)
The Department of Public Works (Department) is seeking a contractor for the 795 Skyway Road Building Replacement Project (Project). The existing building at 795 Skyway Road is a 7,977sf type V-B construction facility which houses tenant spaces sharing a central restroom area and having one interior restroom area for a single suite. The original building along with its mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and fixtures will be demolished in its entirety. The new 795 Skyway Road building is a 12,592sf building of Type II-B construction which houses business occupancy and a small are of classroom space. The overall space is divided into (5) tenant suites.

Reconstruction of 18th Avenue and Installation of Valley Gutters on Fair Oaks Avenue Project
The Project involves the proposed roadway reconstruction of 18th Avenue from End to Bay Road, and Fair Oaks Avenue from 18th Avenue to Marsh Road in the unincorporated North Fair Oaks Area. The proposed Project scope will also include replacement of sanitary sewer facilities and installation of new drainage infrastructure on 18th Avenue.
Slip-Out Repair and Bank Stabilization Near 1780 Higgins Canyon Road
The slip-out repair project will repair the failing embankments and damaged pavements near 1780 Higgins Canyon Road. The work to be done consists, in general, of installing soldier piles and lagging retaining wall, tiebacks, drainage improvements, and installing a rock slope protection revetment with plantings, and erosion control/slope protection.
2025 On-Call Upfitting Vehicles with Public Safety Equipment Services
The Department of Public Works is seeking a firm or set of firms to perform upfitting services of public safety equipment for various classifications, types, and makes and models of vehicles as requested by the County of San Mateo, on an on-call or as needed basis. The selected firms should provide all equipment, materials and labor for upfitting vehicles with public safety equipment for various departments within the County for their operational needs. The target start of the contract term is October 21, 2025, with a term of five (5) years. The resulting contract(s) from this solicitation may be piggybacked by the twenty cities within the County of San Mateo or any other governmental agency.
