The position, providing professional child psychiatric diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in various divisions of San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, is full time, and currently open for hire. Service sites will include an integrated behavioral health team within a pediatric clinic, outpatient behavioral health clinics, and a juvenile justice facility. The specifics of the treatment sites where services will be delivered will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate, the Supervising Child Psychiatrist, and the BHRS Medical Director.

The Senior Communicable Disease Control PHN is responsible for the daily supervision and operational functioning of the San Mateo County Communicable Disease Control Program, under the direction and authority of the Communicable Disease Control Officer and Clinical Services Manager II-Nursing. It is distinguished from Medical Program Manager which participates in the overall management of division and inter-division issues, and administration of a large complex medical component or multiple complex components of medical or psychiatric programs.

Adult, pediatric, podiatry and dental teams at Daly City Clinic work together to provide compassionate and complete care to this community. Onsite Behavioral health, social work and pharmacist support as well as strong RN presence create a team-based approach serving almost seven thousand patients.  The Supervising Physician works in concert with manager and nursing leadership to lead local quality improvement work and program development in addition to direct on-site clinical work and supervision of the provider team.
