Trish Erwin is the Quality Improvement Manager for Family Health Services, a division within San Mateo County Health, where she guides the improvement work being conducted within the Division’s three branches of Home Visiting, Public Health Nutrition and California Children’s Services. Her work includes collaborating closely with managers, supervisors and line staff to use data to drive process improvements that lead to better services for San Mateo County residents.
Trish’s interest in becoming a Certified Internal Coach for the County stems from her desire to work collaboratively with other people to develop curiosity, challenge assumptions, and engage in critical thinking and reflection on issues that arise for leaders and staff.
Trish has a PhD in Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California Irvine (UCI), a Master’s of Social Ecology from UCI, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University. Trish loves gardening, riding her motorcycle and anything to do with cats.
