For visitors/non-County employees
As the event host, as a courtesy HR will issue you a free parking pass valid at the specified areas (listed below) of the Visitor/Jury Parking Garage at 440 Middlefield Road. (*Google maps is not currently accurate. Visitor/Jury Parking Garage will show up as 440 or 400 Middlefield Road in Google maps)
You can drive up and park at the:
- 3rd floor
- 5th floor
Do not park on the following areas: 1st floor, 2nd floor, & 4th floor. Ramps to all floors are off-limits.
Our parking pass is not valid here and you are subject to citation.

For County employees who do not work at County Center, Redwood City
Do not park in the visitor garage, rather, park at the employee parking garage at 400 Middlefield Road. (*Google maps is not currently accurate. Employee parking garage will show up as 266 Middlefield Road in Google maps, but the correct signage for 400 Middlefield Road can be found on the side of the building )
Gates are up (open access) before 9am. If you arrive after 9am, you will need to badge in at the gate.
Any color County-issued parking placard is valid in this garage. If you do not have a County parking placard, you will need to obtain a Yellow Day Use placard from your department in advance. Each Department has a limited number of these placards and they are given to employees when visiting the County Center campus. Check with your Payroll Clerk to learn who distributes these placards. These temporary placards must be returned to your placard coordinator post-event. If you do not have a County-issued parking placard and park in the employee garage, you may be subject to citation.
Be mindful of designated parking spaces, such as Electric Vehicle or Carpool spaces. These requirespecific parking passes; lack thereof will result in a citation.
