The County Book Club is a great opportunity to connect with fellow County employees and share insights from engaging and thought-provoking reads.

This program runs in cohorts, with limited admission to support a small group experience. Each cohort spans several weeks and includes virtual discussion group meetings moderated by facilitators. Sessions are designed to encourage meaningful conversations and reflections on the selected book.

The Book Club is offered in partnership with San Mateo County Libraries. Participants will receive a copy of the selected book at no cost and will have the option to interact asynchronously with others through a digital platform. We also encourage participants to sign up for a free library card through San Mateo County Libraries for continued access to great resources.

Please note that space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is conditional upon completion of a Book Club Participation Agreement, which will be provided upon registration.
