  • San Mateo County Parks is pleased to announce the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Reimagine Flood Park Design. Following a multi-year process of community engagement, conceptual design, and the California Environmental Quality Act process, the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was completed in 2020. The Board of Supervisors certified the EIR and a Notice of Determination was filed in November 2020.

This RFP (see attached) seeks design and construction support services for Flood County Park in the City of Menlo Park. Proposed recreational facilities will be constructed in phases over the next 10 years, and will include new athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic areas and walking paths. The proposed plan will also include restoration of historic adobe structures, parking lot, planting and irrigation, and upgrades to utility infrastructure.

Organizations or individuals interested in responding to this RFP must register online with the County of San Mateo at www.publicpurchase.com.
