Closure on Meadow and Alambique Trails, March 10 & 11.

San Bruno Mountain Park Closures

Trail closure for Invasive species management. Amenities closed in the Saddle day use area while construction is underway.

Memorial Park Closures

The 3.5 mile-long Pomponio Canyon Trail is closed until repairs can be made following a failed retaining wall. A .1 mile-long portion of the Trillium Nature Trail is closed until a large downed tree can be removed.

Flood Park Closures

Restroom near Old Adobe Closed, Feb 25–Mar 3. Future baseball, large multi-use field, and playground remain closed for construction. Reservable picnic areas, which are now open for reservation, are no longer available for drop-in use.

Bicycle Sunday Canceled on Holiday Weekends

Bicycle Sunday, the weekly event that allows for non-motorized use of Cañada Road along Crystal Springs Regional Trail, will be canceled on holiday weekends to meet increased staffing needs at other parks.

Upcoming Fuel Reduction Work in San Bruno Mountain's Saddle Area

Beginning Tuesday, February 10, CAL FIRE CZU will perform fuel reduction work in the Saddle Area of San Bruno Mountain Park. Work is slated to occur before May 2026.

Junipero Serra Park Closures

Oak Cove Reservation Area closed through April 1. Iris Point Sites closed. Closure on Live Oak Nature Trail.

Forest Health Work Resumes at Pescadero Creek Park

As of late January 2026, crews have returned to Pescadero Creek Park to continue a multi-year project to ecologically restore forest health and reduce fire fuels over approximately 541 acres strategically located throughout the park.
