Community Chooses a Concept for New Coyote Point Playground
Results are in from the survey to chose the final design for the new playground at Coyote Point. Out of over 840 responses 78% have chosen Concept A, "Magical Adventure in a Seaside Land." Construction begins in July.
Flood Park’s New Inclusive Playground Opening Delayed to Fall 2026
San Mateo County Parks is in the final stages of completing the new Flood Park playground, however the opening has been delayed while modifications to the playground are made in response to safety reviews.

Upcoming Fuel Reduction Work in San Bruno Mountain's Saddle Area
Beginning Tuesday, February 10, CAL FIRE CZU will perform fuel reduction work in the Saddle Area of San Bruno Mountain Park. Work is slated to occur before May 2026.
Forest Health Work Resumes at Pescadero Creek Park
As of late January 2026, crews have returned to Pescadero Creek Park to continue a multi-year project to ecologically restore forest health and reduce fire fuels over approximately 541 acres strategically located throughout the park.
