Experience the rich history and unique natural resources of County Parks with our self-guided tour app. Download the app and select from one of 10 ranger-created tours, including the Reptiles of Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve and Geology of Earthquakes at Sawyer Camp Trail. Tours are available in English and Spanish and more tours are in development.

How does it work?

1. Use the QR codes in the graphic below to visit the app store and download the app onto your smartphone. You can also search for “San Mateo County Parks” in your app store.
   
2. In the app, select one of the tours. We recommend downloading the tour before your visit.
3. Once you reach the park, start the tour and follow the trail directions.
4. Hike at your own pace! Your phone will alert you when you reach a stop along the self-guided tour.
5. When done, exit out of the app to save battery power.
