On Monday, September 14, construction will begin on the new Magic Mountain Playground at Coyote Point. After extensive participation from so many in the community, we’re excited to bring you the new “Magical Adventure in a Seaside Land” theme—clearly preferred by 78% of the 840+ people who answered our final survey. The new playground will feature a free-to-rove, sea-themed landscape and a 50-foot zipline for all abilities.
While construction is underway the playground and surrounding picnic area will be closed. The EV charging stations in the adjacent parking lot will also be unavailable. The RV campsites and restroom near Magic Mountain will remain open.
The new playground is expected to open in spring 2027.
