The Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo (HACSM) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP)for 200 Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers (PBV's) and 35 HUD-VASH PBV's in the service area of the Menlo Park Veterans Administration Medical Center. Eligible projects are New Construction projects in which construction has not started before the Award Date of PBV's, which is anticipated to be in late January 2023.
The deadline to apply is Friday December 30, 2022 at 4 pm.
Interested applicants must email bdeffenderfer@smchousing.org to schedule a mandatory pre-application meeting not later than Friday December 16 at 4 pm.
The RFP includes essential information on project caps, income targeting, unit-size targeting and targeting of units for populations that will benefit from coordinated supportive services (“Supportive Housing” units), as well as how to apply and how proposals will be evaluated.
