San Mateo County is releasing the Public Review Draft of the 2023-2031 Housing Element. This draft will be available for at least 30 days, and comments may be submitted until December 18, 2022. Comments on any aspect of the Draft Housing Element may be submitted through the form on this page, or transmitted directly to William Gibson at wgibson@smcgov.org. The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors will hold a hearing on the Draft Housing Element at their regularly scheduled meeting on December 6, 2022.
After the close of the comment period, all comments received will be considered, and amendments to the Housing Element may be made prior to the required submittal of the Housing Element to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for review.
