Your Ideas Will Revitalize Coyote Point

With close to 300,000 visitors annually, Coyote Point Recreation Area is the second most visited San Mateo County Park. Known for its beach, promenade, link to the Bay Trail, picnic areas, marina, and the popular Magic Mountain playground, it is truly a wonderful park.

As Magic Mountain nears its 20-year anniversary, we’re launching the Revitalize Coyote Point project to learn what playground improvements park users would like to see installed and how we can enhance other areas within the park. Funding is allocated for the playground renovation.

Community Chooses a Concept for New Coyote Point Playground

Results are in from the survey to chose the final design for the new playground at Coyote Point. Out of over 840 responses 78% have chosen Concept A, "Magical Adventure in a Seaside Land." Construction begins in July. Learn more
