The Historic Resources Ordinance safeguards the historic structures and sites of San Mateo County and promotes their public use and enjoyment. (see "Related Documents" below). The Historic Resources Advisory Board (HRAB) conducts public hearings. It serves as an advisory body to the Planning and Building Director, the Planning Commission, and the Board of Supervisors on matters related to the preservation of historic resources.
