To protect environmental resources and promote public safety, San Mateo County Parks has partnered with Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and the Coastal Conservancy to turn Tunitas Creek Beach into a County park. In collaboration with the public we've developed and preferred plan and in 2023/24 we'll be enhancing this stunning and rugged section of coastline with proper public facilities and amenities.
Tunitas Creek Beach Preferred Design
San Mateo County Parks, POST and Coastal Conservancy are excited to share the preferred conceptual design for Tunitas Creek Beach. This design reflects input gathered from many community members during virtual community meetings in October 2020 as well as more than 1,300 survey responses.
