  • Intermittent Trail Closures for Invasive Plant Management

    From February 8 through March 15, weather permitting, workers will be at San Bruno Mountain treating oxalis. This work will involve up to eight days of targeted application of the herbicide imazamox or triclopyr directly to the invasive plants. During the treatment, intermittent trail closures may take place on the following trails:

    • Saddle Trail between trail markers 1 & 11
    • Old Ranch Road from trail marker 12 to the border of the park
    • Summit Loop Trail
    • Dairy Ravine Trail
    • Eucalyptus Trail
    • Ridge Trail (east of the summit)
    • The trail leading up to Ridge Trail from Juncus Ravine
    • The trail leading up to Ridge Trail from Buckeye Canyon
