Intermittent closures on Old Guadalupe Trail for Culvert Repair

On weekdays between Wednesday, August 5, 2026 and Friday, August 27, Old Guadalupe Trail will be intermittently closed between trail markers 7 and 9 while a culvert is being replaced.

Invasive Plant Management Near Southeast Ridge Trail

Through Friday, August 14, crews will be working near the Ridge Trail on the southeast ridge of the mountain, treating invasive scrub, broom, and fennel. Treatment will include spot-application of the herbicides Garlon 4 Ultra, Milestone, and Vastlan. Going forward, work will occur 30 feet or more from trails and no trail closures will be necessary.
