Junctus Hillside Trail Closed July 30–31 for Invasive Plant Management

On Thurday & Friday, July 30–31, the Hillside Juncus Trail, which runs from Hillsdale Blvd to the top of the mountain, will be closed to allow crews to perform invasive plant management close to the trail. The trail will reopen on Saturday, August 1.

Over the second half of July, crews have been on the south side of the mountain working to treat encroaching scrub and protect native grassland. Treatment for this project includes spot-application of the herbicides Garlon 4 Ultra and Milestone.

Intermittent closures on Old Guadalupe Trail for Culvert Repair

On weekdays between Wednesday, August 5, 2026 and Friday, August 27, Old Guadalupe Trail will be intermittently closed between trail markers 7 and 9 while a culvert is being replaced.
