  • After a collaborative public design process and approval by the Board of Supervisors on February 23, 2021, the conceptual plan that will develop Tunitas Creek Beach into San Mateo County’s newest park takes another crucial step forward. Today, to satisfy requirements for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), we have released for review and comment a Tunitas Creek Beach Improvement Project Draft Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND). View the document along with the Notice of Intent, attached below.

The Draft IS/MND is available for review for 30 days from September 2, 2021 to October 1, 2021 pursuant to Section 15105 of the CEQA Guidelines. Persons responding are urged to submit their comments in writing to the County by mail or email no later than 5 p.m. on October 1.
