In November 2022, San Mateo County Parks, acting as the Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), released for review and comment, a Draft Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Wildfire Risk Reduction and Visitor Serving Projects at Quarry County Park. The Draft IS/MND public review and comment period, which opened November 9, 2022 pursuant to Section 15105 of the CEQA Guidelines, has been extended to January 26, 2023. The Parks Department will receive comment by both mail and email.
