Closure at Hoffman Creek Trailhead

Visitors at Memorial Park, please be aware of a closure at the Hoffman Creek Trailhead leading into Pescadero Creek Park. This is due to a wildfire fuel reduction project funded by CAL FIRE Forest Health Grant as part of California Climate Investments and which is managed by San Mateo County Parks, San Mateo RCD and Auten Resources Consulting.

Beginning on August 10, the closure will run along Old Haul Road from trail marker 48 at the Hoffman Creek Trailhead to trail marker 58, and from there along Pomponio Trail to Pescadero Creek. The closure will remain in place for approximately two weeks. Then, as work progresses, the closure will move to another portion of Old Haul Road, restoring trail access from Memorial Park to Pescadero Creek Park.
