The National Weather Service has warned of high surf conditions in Bay Area coastal waters through Thursday, October 1, as remnants of Tropical Storm Odalys and Hurricane Polo arrive at the California coast.

San Mateo County Parks will remain open on the Pacific and Bay sides of the peninsula, but please remain safe by keeping a cautious distance from the surf. Remember to stay away from the edges of coastal bluffs, which can become unstable with increased water saturation.
