Scent Dog on Sawyer Camp Segment for Native Species Survey
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) will be conducting a survey of native species in the vicinity of Sawyer Camp Trail for one day between Wednesday, April 22nd and Thursday, April 30th. The survey will include the use of a working Scent Dog trained to detect species of interest. The dog will be working off-trail and will remain under voice command of the trained handler at all times. Non-working (companion) animals continue to be prohibited on SFPUC’s watershed lands.
