The Oak Premium Picnic Area is Flood Park's largest group picnic site and is reservable by groups up to 200 people. The site is divided into three areas of clustered tables, which surround a central cooking station. The cooking station includes two large adjustable-height barbecues and four smaller barbecues, two sinks with pull-down faucets, and four serving tables. The site is conveniently located right next to the parking lot.
Expect warm to hot weather in the summer and a light breeze in the afternoons. Because the shade structure has been temporarily removed, reserving parties are permitted to bring their own 10'x10' or 12'x12' canopies to provide shade from the sun. Parking is shared among all park users and is available on a first come, first served basis. Private vehicles are not allowed in the picnic areas. Please contact the reservations desk for availability, fees, regulations and any questions you may have.
