The Maple Picnic Area is reservable by groups up to 100 people. This site is located farthest from Flood Park's courts and playing fields and may be preferred by groups looking to be somewhat removed from the activity of the park. There's a cooking station equipped with 4 charcoal barbecues, a sink, and two serving tables. The site has 11 picnic tables and 1 kids table. The three tables nearest the serving area are accessible and on a level blacktop surface. There is a gathering area off to the side, with Adirondack chairs surrounding a large leveled-off tree stump.

Expect warm to hot weather in the summer and a light breeze in the afternoons. Parking is shared among all park users and is available on a first come, first served basis. Private vehicles are not allowed in the picnic areas. Please contact the reservations desk for availability, fees, regulations and any questions you may have.
