The Madrone Picnic Area is reservable by groups up to 100 people. It is centrally located within Flood Park and gives convenient access the park's small multi-use field, tennis/pickleball courts, and sand volleyball courts, all available on a first come, first served basis. The site has a cooking station equipped with 4 charcoal barbecues, a sink, and two serving tables. The area has 6 double-long picnic tables and 2 kids tables all on a level blacktop surface. A gathering area, with Adirondack chairs surrounding a large leveled-off tree stump, is located on the south side of the site.

Expect warm to hot weather in the summer and a light breeze in the afternoons. Parking is shared among all park users and is available on a first come, first served basis. Private vehicles are not allowed in the picnic areas. Please contact the reservations desk for availability, fees, regulations and any questions you may have.
