The Bay Picnic Area is a large picnic site reservable by groups up to 150 people. A large cooking area with 4 charcoal barbecues, a sink, and two serving tables is centrally located between the area's 7 double-long and 4 normal sized picnic tables, plus 2 kids tables. Two gathering areas, with Adirondack chairs surrounding a large leveled-off tree stump, flank the main picnic site. The site is near the park's sand volleyball courts, which are available on a first come, first served basis.

Expect warm to hot weather in the summer and a light breeze in the afternoons. Parking is shared among all park users and is available on a first come, first served basis. Private vehicles are not allowed in the picnic areas. Please contact the reservations desk for availability, fees, regulations and any questions you may have.
