How do you become a Junior Ranger?
- Go to the visitor center and ask a Parks volunteer or Naturalist for a booklet. If you will be visiting the park when the visitor center is closed, download and print a copy of the booklet prior to your visit.
- Fill out the booklet as you explore the park. You don’t need to finish the booklet all in one visit.
- Return to the visitor center and show your completed booklet to a Parks volunteer or Naturalist. If the visitor center is closed, you can email photos of your completed booklet to sanmateocountyparks@gmail.com. Include your address so we can send you your pin.
- If you collect all 5 pins, you will receive a special Junior Ranger badge! Send a photo of your 5 pins, along with your address, to sanmateocountyparks@gmail.com.
