Two ad-hoc advisory committees will operate for the duration of the project to provide regular input and guidance, local expertise, and ensure that the Community Climate Action Plan and implementation items represent locally relevant and effective strategies. Each committee is described below.

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)

The TAC will provide technical advice and guidance at key points in the planning process. TAC members consist of County staff members with expertise related to the project.

The Steering Committee

The Steering Committee will provide general advice and feedback at key points in the planning process. The Steering Committee consists of stakeholders that represent a wide variety of community interest groups including the nonprofit sector, the development community, residents, environmental interest groups, and more. Members of the Steering Committee will also aid in project implementation through sharing project information through their existing networks.
