Kevin Zwick is the Deputy Director of Housing – Real Estate Development and Asset Management for San Mateo County’s Department of Housing.
In this role, Kevin helps lead the development of affordable housing on County-owned land for its residents and employees, as well as leading the department’s asset management functions. Prior to the County of San Mateo, Kevin was the principal of Kevin Zwick Consulting, where he helped local governments and nonprofit organizations develop, finance, and plan for affordable housing. Previously, Kevin was the CEO of United Way Bay Area, and CEO of Housing Trust Silicon Valley, where he led efforts to help house over 20,000 residents through innovative financing tools for the creation of affordable housing and first-time homebuyers.
Kevin has a master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and has completed the Neighborworks Achieving Excellence Program for Community Development and Affordable Housing at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
