On December 2, 2025, the County of San Mateo’s Department of Housing will issue a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) allocating funding from the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME)  Programs as well as from the Federal and State of California Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG) and State Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program for projects in FY2026-2027.

On October 29, 2025, the Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) will solicit public comment regarding the needs and priorities for these funds.
