The existing Skylonda Fire Station, located on Skyline Boulevard, is the last of the original County fire stations, having been constructed in the 1930s. A needs assessment helped determine that the near 90-year-old station had outlived its useful life and that living and working conditions and performance could be improved by constructing a new station. The first phase of the project, which will result in occupancy, is nearly complete with occupancy anticipated during December 2019. An additional project phase 2 that includes demolition of the old station, landscaping, and construction of a new accessory building is underway.

Notice of Completion TBA

The new station is funded in part by Measure K. LEARN MORE
