As Chief Legislative Officer, Connie Juarez-Diroll leads federal and state intergovernmental activities, directs the County’s advocacy teams, develops policy and programmatic analysis for the Board of Supervisors, and works on special projects. 

Before joining the County Executive's Office in 2007, Connie worked as a principal analyst for the University of California Office of the President after a short career in academia. Connie holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a master’s degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley where she also completed doctoral studies in Ethnic Studies with a concentration on ethnic politics and public policy.  A lifelong learner, Connie earned a California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Senior Executive Credential in 2011 and became a CSAC Fellow in 2013. 

With her husband, she forms a dedicated swim and dance advance and support team for two school-aged girls.
