San Mateo County is home to many remarkable visual artists, musicians, performers, dancers, poets, authors, filmmakers, arts educators, many of which are represented by arts and culture nonprofits. These partners are instrumental in creating a vibrant community by giving voice to all members of our community, employing essential workers, and empowering us to recover, reflect and build. Many of these groups have been awarded grants by the Office of Arts and Culture and its Arts Commission. We will feature these organizations on a rotating basis to share the exciting vital work and programs that make San Mateo County extraordinary.
