Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

This indicator provides the percentage of the population who receive Supplemental Security Income benefits. Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a nationwide U.S. assistance program administered by the Social Security Administration that guarantees a minimum level of income for needy aged, blind, or disabled individuals.
