The Four Seasons Summer is an exhibition that celebrates summer 2022 as the first summer our local and global communities are getting back to some semblance of normalcy in the wake of the pandemic. Artist Angela Holmes caputres the soul enlivening experiences of seeing and smelling flowers, immersing oneself in fresh air and nature, and centering oneself with a physical and existential exhale.
ARTIST BIO
Angela Holmes is a graphic designer and local Peninsula artist with an interest in the surreal and fantasy genres. Angela began painting as a way to relieve stress while caring for her mom who suffered from Alzheimer’s. Angela’s varied work experience as a graphic artist, book cover and wine label designer, product analyst, and former daycare owner shows her keen ability to apply a creative flare to all that she touches.
Angela has a degree in Graphic Design (2014), is an active Board Member of the Triton Museum in Santa Clara, and has been featured in a group art exhibition, Women’s View 2022.
