The San Mateo County Human Services Agency (HSA), in close collaboration with community partners, will conduct the biennial One Day Homeless Count and Survey. The purpose of the One Day Homeless Count and Survey is to gather information to help the community understand homelessness in San Mateo County. This data set, among others, provides information for effective program planning to assist people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

HSA will conduct the Count on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 and administer the Survey between January 25th and February 1st, 2024.

Volunteer registration will launch in November, so check back here for updates!

If you have any questions about the One Day Count or volunteer opportunities, please send an email to HSA_OneDayCount@smcgov.org.
