Subject: Amend Agreement with CHM Government Services, LLC for Business Development Services
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with CHM Government Services, LLC for business development services, increasing the amount by $35,000 to an amount not to exceed $134,000 and extending the term to December 31, 2016.
BACKGROUND:
County Parks entered into an agreement with CHM Government Services, LLC for the provision of business and revenue analysis and development consulting services in the amount of $99,000 for a term of October 14, 2014 to October 13, 2016.
DISCUSSION:
County Parks wishes to increase the contract amount by $35,000 to $134,000 and extend the agreement term to December 31, 2016. The requested additional funding will allow for enhanced concession and business development models and includes financial analysis of Sharp Park Golf Course.
The Resolution in addition would authorize the Parks Director or her designee to execute contract amendments to modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
County Counsel has reviewed and approved the amendment and resolution as to form.
This contract amendment contributes to the 2025 Shared Vision of an Environmentally Conscious Community as it is providing integral information and program planning for financial sustainability of the County Parks system.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The additional $35,000 will be funded through existing Measure A appropriations in the FY 2015-16 Budget. There is no net county cost impact on the General Fund.
