Do you have a concern about a pest trap in your yard?
Our pest detection team places insect traps around the county to to catch exotic pests of interest. If you have a question about a pest trap in your yard, please contact the Pest Detection Program Manager, Gerardo Ibarra, at (650) 363-4215 or email the department at smateoag@smcgov.org.
Do you need help identifying a pest?
If you need help identifying a pest in your home or garden, please bring a sample to our office. Our department holds Office Duty Hours Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Find more information on pests and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) here.
