To this end, we will develop interventions that demonstrate a blend of our law enforcement and treatment responsibilities. We will be leaders in our profession exemplifying the highest standards of performance established in the fields of community corrections and organizational development.
We will maintain a positive work environment where collaboration and participatory management are central components of our department, and we will value diversity, professionalism and a strong work ethic. Ongoing training and clear organizational expectations will allow us to maximize the potential of every employee. To ensure continual growth, we will evaluate the success and cost effectiveness of our department’s programs and services. We will work collaboratively with other county agencies to provide a broad continuum of integrated services which promote healthy lifestyles and lower recidivism.
