Parking

VISITORS: The County Parking Structure (see map above) provides the most convenient parking for visitors. Parking is $1.00 per hour, with a four hour maximum. Payment methods include debit/credit cards, coins, and paper bills, and receipts are issued. First floor parking is free after 5:00 p.m. M - F and all day on weekends. There are two other public lots within a few blocks of County Center (marked with a blue 'P' on the map). There is also some street parking in the area. Street parking is metered and takes quarters, and most meters have a one or two hour maximum.
 

JURY PERMIT PARKING: Jurors with a permit may park in the lot outside of the County Parking Structure, near the corner of Middlefield Road and Veterans Blvd.
 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
If you prefer to use public transportation, you may visit 511.org to plan your trip. Caltrain, SamTrans and Bay Area Bike Share stations are all close by.

 

Driving Directions

Southbound (from San Francisco)

  • Take 101 South to WHIPPLE AVENUE exit (this places you on VETERANS BOULEVARD)
  • Continue on VETERANS BOULEVARD for .6 miles
  • Turn right on MIDDLEFIELD ROAD
  • Make immediate right to park in the Government Center Parking Structure

 

Northbound (from San Jose)

  • Take Hwy 101 North to CA-84 WEST/WOODSIDE ROAD exit
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto WOODSIDE ROAD
  • Turn right on VETERANS BOULEVARD and proceed for .8 miles
  • Turn left on MIDDLEFIELD ROAD
  • Make immediate right to park in the Government Center Parking Structure

 

From Hwy 280 North

  • Take CA-84/WOODSIDE ROAD exit and turn right onto WOODSIDE ROAD. Proceed for approximately 4 miles.
  • Turn left on VETERANS BOULEVARD and proceed for .8 miles
  • Turn left on MIDDLEFIELD ROAD
