What Can Your Monetary Donation Do?
$1500 can sponsor the orthodontic treatment for a child
$500 can provide backpacks and school supplies to 13 children
$100 can purchase school supplies for 7 children
$50 can fulfill the holiday gift wishes of 2 children
We Need Your Help!
The Children's Fund program depends on generous contributions from the community to provide every one of the goods and services that the 2,500 children receive each year.
The San Mateo County Human Services Agency funds all the operational and administrative costs associated with the program. Therefore 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to serving the children.
Every donation makes a huge difference to the children we serve. Contributions are tax-deductible.
How to Donate
We have many ways for you to donate to the Children's Fund:
- You can click on our "Donation Form" tab for a one-time donation online for any of our current programs.
- You can mail us your check to Children's Fund, 500 County Center, Redwood City, CA 94063. Please make checks payable to the "Children's Fund."
- You can purchase stuff from our Amazon wish list or Target registry. Please note that all items purchased from our Amazon wish list and Target registry will be sent to our Children’s Fund warehouse, which is located at 1 Davis Drive, Belmont, CA 94002. However, all checks will need to be mailed to the Children’s Fund office location at 500 County Center, Redwood City CA 94063. A link to our Amazon wish list and Target registry will be made available when it is activated.

NOTE: We do not accept any kind of furniture or luggage.
Note: County employees may send their donation to: Children’s Fund at PONY: H.S.A. 500. Or you may mail or drop off your donations to: 500 County Center, Redwood City, CA 94063.

| Donating for our Backpack and Supply Drive |
We accept only new prefilled backpacks. If you are interested in donating please email childrensfund@smcgov.org to receive a list of supplies to include in your backpacks. Please note we do not accept backpacks that are solely blue or red. We encourage donors to host their own backpack drive with their company and community organizations. To receive more information on how to host a drive please email childrensfund@smcgov.org. |

| Donating for our Holiday Gift Program |
The Children’s Fund warehouse will be relocating and will unfortunately not be accepting toys in person. Any need we have for toys will be posted on our Amazon and Target wish list. If you would like to donate, please consider one of the following options:
