The Board of Supervisors has allocated funding for library renovation projects in South San Francisco, Daly City, East Palo Alto and North Fair Oaks and for new libraries in Pacifica and Brisbane.

The Board in 2013 allocated $500,000 to the city of Half Moon Bay to support planning efforts to build a new library. On Dec. 15, 2015, the Board agreed to fund 50 percent of the costs associated with construction of a new library in Half Moon Bay without additional Measure A funds. For updates and the latest news on the status of library renovations and construction projects, visit the San Mateo County Performance Dashboard.
