Kacie Santana (she/her) serves as the Equity and Belonging Manager in the Office of Racial and Social Justice. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2004, Kacie began her public service career in 2005. After working across several governmental priorities (state mandated workers compensation, probation, and social services), Kacie was inspired to seek her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) in 2018. Since joining the County of San Mateo in 2022 Kacie has been a leader in equity for Health. With Kacie’s transition to the ORSJ in 2026, she is positioned to continue supporting countywide efforts to advance equity, belonging, and organizational transformation. Outside of work, Kacie enjoys attending live music and sporting events, spending time outdoors, taking long walks, and relaxing with a picnic.
