As the Director of Strategic Communications and Community Partnerships for County of San Mateo, she oversees countywide communications strategy, media relations, and multilingual community engagement efforts. Her background spans crisis communications, public outreach, infrastructure and sustainability initiatives, and executive leadership, including leadership of the County’s Sustainability Department and communications for major regional infrastructure projects such as the Bay Bridge seismic retrofit. Verducci is recognized for building trusted partnerships, guiding organizations through complex public issues, and advancing transparent, community-centered government communications.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning from University of California, Davis and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from University of California, Santa Barbara, where her graduate work focused on environmental decision-making and brownfields redevelopment. She earned a Certificate in Local Governance from Stanford University in 2023.
