Belén Seara (she/her) is the Equity and Belonging Manager in the County Executive’s Office. She brings 15 years of experience advancing social, economic, and racial equity policies, and operationalizing equitable systems and practices in the nonprofit and government sectors. Belén is passionate about bringing an equity lens to research, policy and program development, coalition and power building, and community organizing. She has a master's in public administration with a focus on public policy from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Whitman College. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and taking her two energetic kids to Red Morton Park.
