Redwood City – The County of San Mateo is bracing for more late-winter rain as crews continue to clear roads and remove fallen trees from the latest round of storms.
Here is what you need to know:
If you need assistance, don't have power and need a place to stay or other resources, please call 2-1-1. Operated by the United Way of the Bay Area, 2-1-1 can connect you to a specialist for personalized assistance with free, confidential information in multiple languages.
If you need sandbags, the County provides a list of locations operated both by the County and local cities. Be sure to call or check a city’s website to ensure availability and to check hours.
If you come across downed power lines or a gas leak, leave the area immediately and call 9-1-1. Then, call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000. Know what to do if you see a downed power line.
If your power is out, you can check on the status at the PG&E outage map.
If you want to head to a County park, check the status before you venture out.
