The U. S. Census Bureau is now hiring residents to fill up to 800 positions in San Mateo County. There are a variety of jobs, most
of which are Non-Response Follow-Up positions: individuals who will go door-to-door in specific neighborhoods encouraging and assisting residents in filling out their questionnaires. These are the basic requirements:
- U.S. Citizen and be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Social Security number
- Valid email address
- Must apply online and answer assessment questions
- Pass a Census-performed criminal background check, including fingerprinting
- Registered for Selective Service if applicable (males only - www.sss.gov)
