The County of San Mateo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains open to coordinate countywide response and communications in response to the situation. The EOC’s Joint Information Center will provide daily status reports Monday through Friday until further notice. Today’s report:
Online Video Visits Keep Families, Loved Ones Connected with Inmates
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office just introduced an easy to use online video service that helps inmates housed at the Maguire Correctional Facility and Maple Street Correctional Center stay connected with those important to them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rather than travel to the correctional facility or center, family, friends and loved ones can now see and speak with inmates through video visits. For more information and to register for a video visit, go to www.SmartJailMail.com
