  • The following is a summary of current recovery operations in San Mateo County from the recent storms, updated at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024:

    Road Closure Alert:
    Skyline Boulevard still remains closed from Tunitas Creek Road to La Honda Road (Highway 84). 

    PG&E Outages:
    Currently, 14,076 customers are without power - Half Moon Bay, Daly City, La Honda/Pescardo

    Mass Care and Shelter:
    Community Resource Centers (CRC) are being opened this morning with the support of the Red Cross and in collaboration with San Mateo County libraries. Cell phone charging availability, light snacks and bottled water will be available at each location. These facilities are scheduled to be open today, Tuesday Feb. 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

    • Brisbane Library, 163 Visitacion Ave., Brisbane
    • East Palo Alto Library, 2415 University Ave., East Palo Alto
    • Foster City Library, 1000 E Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City
    • Half Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas St., Half Moon Bay
    • Old Fire Station 41, 531 Obispo Road, El Granada (Open until 5 p.m.)
    • North Fair Oaks Library, at 2510 Middlefield Road, Redwood City

    Public Safety Communications Call Volume: 
    There has been a significant decrease in call volume over the last 24 hours.
