- Please be sure to have a copy of the Sewer Inspection Permit (SIP) signed by a Sewer District representative before performing any work. Work done without a SIP will result in penalty fees. - Please note credit card payments for San Mateo County Sewer Services items are assessed a 2.35% convenience fee with a $1.95 minimum. There is a $0.95 convenience fee for bank accounts. The convenience fees are charged per transaction by a third party vendor. County of San Mateo does not retain any portion of this fee.
